Supplied ready to use with a base compound, RTV511 uses dibutyl tin dilaurate (DBT) for a standard curing agent. Most RTV511 applications can use DBT; however, other catalysts may be employed for automated mixing, faster cure and deep section cure. With excellent release properties, RTV511 is commonly utilized for low and high-temperature bonding, thermal insulation and cast-in-place heat shielding.
